A body of mass 7.5 kg is moving with a velocity of 1.2 m/s. If a force of 15 N is applied on the body, determine its velocity after 2 s.

Given :-

Mass of body = 7.5 kg, Velovity (u) = 1.2 m/s

Force (F) = 15 N and Time(t) = 2 s.

To find :- Velocity after 2 s.

Solution :-

We know that acceleration of the body

a = F/m

= 15/7.5

= 2m/s^2

Velocity of the body after 2 second.

v = u + at

= 1.2+ (2 × 2)

= 5.2 m/s Ans
